Giveaway of special edition with May updates
International giveaway of a SIGNED special edition of THE PHOENIX KING
Hello friends,
It’s been a while since my last post and to be honest, it’s because I’ve been a Bad Writer and enjoying my (temporary) time off of deadline. Technically, there’s still alot of editing left to be done for Book 2, however, I’ve submitted a draft to my editor and I’m finding it hard to return to the page. Usually when this happens, it’s because I feel burned out or simply need to read.
So I’ve been reading new stories and dreaming of new ones (more to come soon). But to the important task at hand: it’s time for a giveaway!
Giveaway Time
AcryliPics created this gorgeous special edition of The Phoenix King and were kind enough to give me a few extra copies. The special edition includes:
a brand new cover with gold foil
3-sided page art
8 page overlays of artworks from certain scenes of TPK
signed and personalized message from me
The giveaway is international and will run from today to May 24th. To participate, you simply have to be a subscriber of this newsletter! Which, if you’re getting this email, you already are. On May 24th, I will use a random generator to randomly pick an email. I will then email the lucky winner. If I don’t hear back from them in 5 days, I’ll then pick another winner, and so on until someone responds. So, check your emails!
Upcoming Events
I have a few upcoming events to remind myself I am more than a writer in a cave and that people are actually out here reading my book. So, if you are around, please entertain me and remind me I’m human.

The schedule has not been announced yet but I plan to attend WorldCon in Glasgow and I hope to see you nerds out there!
Before I leave, I want to extend my gratitude to you. I have gotten countless messages, tags, emails, and love from you for TPK, and as someone who is currently going through the ringer when it comes to edits, your love gives me sustenance. I am forever grateful to you for picking up my book, for reading this email. May all your books be a five-star read, and if not, at least it’ll be cause for conversation.
Keep a fire burning,
Aparna
